The IZEK Sewing Machine

Finally, a Game Boy-controlled sewing machine, that looks like an iMac. Probably a project conceived in 1999 by someone at Singer who'd read "Crossing the Chasm".

As you can see, IZEK is no ordinary sewing machine. It’s unexpectedly cool, thanks to Nintendo Game Boy technology. It’s unexpectedly easy to use, with loads of user-friendly features.

This revolutionary system includes the IZEK sewing machine, Game Boy, connection wire, and a special cartridge that contains stitch pattern designs.

The four reviews of it on epinions are all endearing, each in its own way. Sewers seem a nice bunch of people with an overlay of benign obsessiveness.
